What's so great about High Pressure?! High Pressure lamps block out almost all UVB (or 'burning rays') virtually eliminating the risk of sunburn. What remains are the UVA rays (the 'tanning rays'), which penetrate further for a deeper, darker, longer lasting tan allowing for more time in between sessions. UVA also produces a rich brown color, instead of the reddish-pink tint that is common from UVB.
Since High Pressure allows tanners to tan without burning and to tan less frequently, High Pressure is often thought to be much less damaging to the skin... which is why High Pressure lamps were first introduced above the facial area {as shown in the Fiesta, above left and the Orbit, above right} where signs of aging are most predominant.

Due to the excellent benefits and results of High Pressure, it is now incorporated throughout the entire bed. The Omega (above left) is completely High Pressure, and the Ultra Classic 650 (above right) is a combination of High Pressure and traditional tanning lamps. While they are more expensive per session, they are intended for only 3-4 sessions per month to maintain your tan!

And now introducing the newest member of our family... The UWE Sunboard Plus All High Pressure, contoured for ultimate comfort, with an open air design for a cooler tanning session. Amazing deep, dark long lasting color! See for yourself today!
Tan in moderation, never burn and always use a salon quality tanning lotion while tanning!
